Developed using the latest in computational fluid dynamic software, the Hydraglide bearing represents the ultimate in water lubricated bearing technology. The fluted sections allow the shaft to rise onto the film of water on which it runs at much lower rpm, thus eliminating bearing 'rumble' at lower shaft speeds. The bearing diameters are precision ground to size ensuring that accuracy and consistency are maintained. The Hydraglide range of bearings use Nitrile rubber which is extremely tough and resistant to both oils and chemicals. The rubber is moulded into either a brass or composite shell using specially developed bonding agents that ensure adhesion is permanent and total.
